A small club with engagement for youth
Right from the start Franke has had a youthful profile. When the club was founded in 1943, Gunnar Sandberg - the first president - was only 17 years old.

Soccer most important
In Frankes history there have been activities in handball, table-tennis, icehockey and bandy, mostly in their early days, but soccer has definitly been most important throughout the years.

The spirit of Franke - the way to success
It is mainly the good work with the youngsters, which is characteristic for Franke. Fellowship and adventure have always been important for the harmony within the club. In the fifties Franke was first in Sweden to have the support of its own parental association. Because of this and together with a lot of able leaders the spirit of Franke evolved, which makes it easy to give a helping hand to each other and to the organization.

With that in mind it is not very surprising, that the outstanding achievements were made by the clubs youth teams. Franke has a Swedish Championship from 1958 in bandy - accomplished by the apprentices team. Of the thirty-plus County Championships, three were won by the senior soccer team, in 1961, 1975 and 1976. In table-tennis Franke also has won four on behalf of the seniors. But the mainpart of the County Championships are due to youth teams efforts.
